Party Themes
Party themes are a great way to incorporate entertainment into the party and can also take a
lot of work out of planning the party. Themes make decorating, games, entertainment and the food much easier to plan.
Consider the guest of honor when choosing a theme. Does he/she have a hobby or interest that would make a great theme? Does
he have a good sense of humor? A personality trait can also be helpful. Is the person a neat freak, is he always late, does he
play practical jokes on other people? All of these things can be worked into the theme.
The season or time of year can also be an influence. Will the party be held close to a holiday - Groundhog's Day, St Patrick's
Day, Mardi Gras, Halloween, etc.?
